Construction Superintendent

Conant Company, Inc., San Diego, CA, United States

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team!
Pay: $95-135K per year
Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of construction project from preconstruction to closeout
Allocate resources for assigned projects and maintain project schedule
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors and make sure all safety protocol is followed through life of the project
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs and timely services
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, certification, or extensive previous experience in construction management or other related fields. Specifically experience in supervising higher education or science and technology projects
Strong familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, & Scheduling software
Strong leadership qualities & negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Safety minded and OSHA 10/30 certified
