Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, negotiate, acquire, and prepare Oil and Gas Leases
- Farmin/Farmout Agreements
- Joint Venture Agreements
- Joint Operating Agreements
- Exploration Agreements
- Examine and cure requirements set forth in drilling and division order title opinions
- Supervise lease brokers and manage prospect lease acquisitions and associated expenditures
Job Requirements
- Landman with 7+ years of in-house oil and gas industry experience, preferably including work in the Appalachia Basin
- Experience in drafting a wide range of agreements, including Operating Agreements (O/A), Farmin (F/I), and Farmout (F/O) Agreements
- Proven ability to supervise brokers, acquire leases, and cure title issues
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree required; Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred
