Concrete Estimator

Position Summary The Concrete Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for concrete construction projects, including foundations, slabs, structural frames, and related scopes. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure bids are complete, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for structural concrete work. Perform quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, embeds, and related materials. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options. Prepare bid proposals, scopes of work, and clarifications. Collaborate with project management and operations teams during preconstruction. Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required. Support handoff to project teams upon award.
