Head of Loyalty
Rove, New York, NY, United States
As Head of Loyalty, you’ll own Rove’s loyalty ecosystem across earn, transfer, and redemption . You’ll lead strategy and execution for airline and loyalty transfer partnerships, shape our product roadmap to better serve those partners, and expand Rove Miles as a currency that merchants actively want to issue to their customers.
This is a highly cross‑functional role spanning partnerships, product, strategy, and commercial execution.
What You’ll Do
Transfer & Loyalty Partnerships
- Own and expand Rove’s portfolio of airline and loyalty transfer partners, from sourcing and negotiation through launch and ongoing optimization
- Build deeper, more integrated relationships with partners (beyond simple transfers) including search, bonuses, co‑marketing, and strategic initiatives
- Serve as the primary internal advocate for transfer partners, translating partner needs into product and roadmap priorities
Product & Loyalty Strategy
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape the loyalty roadmap that supports transfer partners, redemption experiences, and long‑term currency value
- Help define how Rove Miles functions as a universal rewards currency across multiple ecosystems
- Design scalable frameworks for new loyalty integrations, partner onboarding, and ongoing partner management
Earn & Merchant Expansion
- Lead business development for new earn partnerships across merchants, platforms, and loyalty programs
- Collaborate with the Shopping team to spearhead Rove’s expansion to merchants that want to issue Rove Miles directly as a reward, incentive, or currency
- Develop commercial structures and value propositions that make Rove Miles attractive to partners across industries
Leadership & Execution
- Own the loyalty P&L inputs, including partner economics, pricing structures, and long‑term sustainability
- Build and manage a growing loyalty and partnerships team as the function scales
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Ops to ensure clean launches and durable partnerships
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in loyalty, partnerships, BD, or product‑adjacent roles at a travel, fintech, or consumer platform
- Deep familiarity with airline loyalty programs, points currencies, or large‑scale rewards ecosystems
- Strong product instincts in that you can translate partner needs into roadmap decisions, not just deal terms
- Experience negotiating and managing complex, long‑term commercial partnerships
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building systems from scratch in a fast‑growing startup
- Clear communicator who can work equally well with executives, product teams, and external partners
