About the Role The Art Director at Doyle will lead a team of Graphic Designers and report directly to our Director of Marketing. This is a key leadership position that requires a player/coach mentality – an agile, hands‑on collaborator who loves to bring ideas to life. This role will lead photoshoots and productions as well as the development and execution of strong, engaging, concept‑driven visuals. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be skilled in creating and maintaining relationships with external consultants, managing the opportunities for collaboration, and streamlining their use to optimise existing resources. Experience and Skills Required A big‑picture thinker who’s also detail‑oriented with sophisticated taste and a portfolio of work that marries brand, photography, composition, emerging digital trends, and video storytelling. Comfortable and adaptive to shifting priorities; decisive in the face of tight deadlines, while being mindful of budgets and production details. Proven advanced training in creative development within communication, marketing, design, and/or equivalent with a strong portfolio. 3–5+ years of agency or in‑house experience as an Art Director. Adobe Creative Suite with in‑depth knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects, with a conceptual understanding of web and e‑mail design. Experience directing photoshoots within the luxury, interior‑design, or art space. Understanding of the process of file finalization for print production as well as an understanding of and interest in emerging platforms and new forms of content creation. Experience in diversifying and optimizing channel content with a deep understanding of reaching relevant target audiences across web, mobile, print, video, social, storefront, exhibition, events, etc. Support the development of creative proposals translating visual storytelling into clear narratives that support new partnership opportunities. Down to earth and genuine with a high level of integrity and diplomacy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and create trust. Past experience working within the art world – at an auction house, gallery or museum preferred. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
