
Commercial Lines Account Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring a high standard of client satisfaction and retention.
Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored recommendations.
Ensure timely handling of renewals, endorsements, and policy changes while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, underwriters, and claims representatives, to maintain seamless communication and workflows.
Analyze client coverage needs, identify gaps, and suggest additional products where applicable.
Review and verify policy documentation for accuracy, and process necessary updates with carriers.
Stay informed of industry trends, policy changes, and product developments to provide clients with informed advice and options.
Attend training, networking events, or community outreach initiatives to promote the organization and enhance personal development.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in commercial account management or a related role.
Licensing : Active Property and Casualty Insurance license
Skills :
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using insurance management systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to provide creative solutions for clients.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
