Sales Manager Panama City Beach, FL | Hotel Portfolio Position

Do you have a strong understanding of hotel sales channels and a passion for driving revenue? We’re seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across a portfolio of independent and branded hotels in Panama City Beach, Florida.

What You’ll Do As Sales Manager, you will drive business travel and group sales across multiple properties. You’ll focus on generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and partnering with hotel operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial inquiry through event completion.

Develop and grow business travel accounts across a portfolio of branded hotels

Manage group sales and servicing for both independent and franchise properties, with a primary focus on SMERF segments

Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outside sales efforts

Maintain accurate account, booking, and activity records within the CRM system

Conduct site tours, client meetings, and sales presentations

Negotiate rates, contracts, and concessions in alignment with revenue strategies

Prepare and present proposals and contracts

Collaborate closely with hotel operations teams to ensure successful on-site execution

Partner with leadership to develop strategies that increase occupancy, revenue, and market share

Represent the hotel portfolio professionally within the local community and at industry events

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a motivated sales professional with a strong hospitality background and a proven track record of generating group business.

Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience required

Experience with major brands such as Hilton, IHG, Choice, or Wyndham preferred

Familiarity with both branded and independent hotel environments

Demonstrated ability to proactively generate new business and grow existing accounts

Strong knowledge of hotel sales processes, contracts, and negotiation strategies

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

Experience with Opera Cloud PMS preferred
