As a Y Program Director, you will be responsible for the direction, operation, and supervision of all camp, youth, teen, and family programs/events. You will oversee all programming that falls under these areas, including the staffing, program development, budgeting, and general maintenance and upkeep. You will oversee day to day center-based camp operations including associate supervision, fiscal control, program development, program area facility management/maintenance, program optimization and fulfillment, and volunteer development. You will also hire, train, supervise and lead a team of associates to deliver superior levels of member service and engagement. As a Y Program Director , you’ll contribute to the Y and to the broader community we serve by creating experiences that help people feel a greater sense of health and well-being, purpose, acceptance and belonging.

A love of wellness, youth, teens and family
The ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children, parents/guardians, members, and other associates
Experience developing and implementing youth and family programming
Experience acquiring, developing,implementing off site programs
The ability to work nights and weekends
Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software
At least 2 years supervisory of experience
A bachelor’s degree in recreation/health sciences or a related field
