Inside Sales & Office Coordinator — Honest Abe Roofing $20–$24/hr | Paid Weekly | Monday–Friday
Who We Are Honest Abe Roofing is a professionally operated franchise launching in southeast Michigan, working primarily between Dexter and Farmington Hills. Based out of Plymouth, we are building a new local operation backed by the proven systems and standards of the Honest Abe network. The person who joins us now helps establish the level of quality and professionalism our market will come to expect from us. We put roofs over the heads of families and do so with the highest level of integrity.
The Role You are the first voice a customer hears and the organizational backbone that keeps every job moving from signed contract to closed file. Your primary responsibility is converting inbound leads into confirmed, qualified appointments for our Roofing Advisors. You will also serve as the administrative engine behind every project — owning the job file from the moment a contract is signed through final payment and file closure.
This role requires someone who leads with energy and phone confidence and backs it up with organizational precision. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, take full ownership of your work, and understand that speed and accuracy both matter.
What You'll Do Inside Sales — Your Primary Focus
Contact new leads immediately via call, text, and email — speed to contact is everything
Set and confirm qualified appointments with clearly defined expectations, pre-qualifying homeowners through our financing vendors where applicable
Confirm every appointment 24 hours in advance — verifying all decision makers, timing, and address
Conduct exit polls after every appointment and apply objection recovery techniques on unsold outcomes to reset the sale
Keep management informed with accurate daily activity and results reports
Office Administration — Your Secondary Focus
Own every job file from contract through closure — you are the job guru, ensuring every project moves through our pipeline accurately and on time
Verify sales folders, create project folders, and advance jobs through each stage in our CRM — Approved, In-Progress, Invoiced, Closed
Process all payments and log transactions accurately in our CRM
File for building permits as required
Send invoices, Certificates of Completion, and thank-you correspondence to customers at job close
Flag gross profit discrepancies to management
What We're Looking For
2+ years in inside sales, customer service, or office coordination — phone sales experience strongly preferred
Confident, professional phone presence — you are comfortable with high outbound call volume
Highly organized with strong attention to detail — you will manage multiple open files simultaneously
Proficient in CRM systems and Google Workspace — full training provided on our platform
Comfortable handling payment processing and basic financial transactions
Able to work independently and manage competing priorities without close supervision
Experience in roofing, construction, or home services a plus — not required
