Overview Member Service Representative

(PRECorp), a member‑owned electric cooperative serving residential and commercial customers across five counties in northeast Wyoming, is accepting applications for a Member Service Representative at our Sundance office.

Responsibilities As a Member Service Representative (MSR), your role involves delivering prompt, efficient, and courteous service to PRECorp’s member‑owners. An MSR’s typical duties include responding to member calls, emails, and walk‑ins, assisting with inquiries about billing, payments, rates, and electric usage, and helping with payment arrangements, capital credit questions, and related processes.

Creating service orders for new services

Disconnections/retirements

Reconnections

Service transfers

Upgrades

Issues with security lights or equipment

Additionally, PRECorp’s MSRs provide members with information about special programs such as PREPay, Heat Rate, Net Metering, Budget Billing, and Time of Use Rate. These programs are detailed on the Powder River Energy Corporation website under the “Energy Center” tab.

MSRs are expected to maintain high standards of productivity, efficiency, quality, and professionalism in fulfilling the cooperative’s member service needs.

Qualifications Requires a high school education and a minimum of one to two years of general office experience with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are critical, and bilingual communications are desired.
