Customer Service Representative
Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative is one of the largest electric cooperatives in the US with over 281,000 members and over 12,000 miles of energized lines. WREC's service area is located along Florida's Nature Coast in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties and is conveniently situated between Tampa, Orlando, and the gulf beaches. Responsibilities: Responsible for greeting members and visitors of the Cooperative to ensure all Members and visitors are welcomed in a professional manner. Process payments. Maintain the cash drawer. Complete daily paperwork. May be assigned other duties as needed. Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicant is required to have basic telephone, copier, computer knowledge, and skills. Cash handling experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Will be required to appropriately handle confidential matters. Requires physical ability in sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, using fingers, holding, grasping, talking, and hearing. Ability to acquire knowledge of WREC's organizational structure and operations. Also will need to acquire knowledge of all Cooperative safety rules, policies, and procedures.
