Job summary Capital Market IT (CMI) oversees the information systems for the Global Markets Division covering all capital markets domains from pre-trade to post-trade, risk management and regulatory reporting. CMI ensures applicative support, maintenance and evolution of the information system and drives innovative transformation programs to support business growth. Teams are located worldwide including Paris, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York. CMI is expanding its presence in the Americas, consolidating Run and Build teams to support business growth in the region. CACIB Americas IT is hiring a Head of Americas Capital Market IT E‑Trading in New York to establish a resilient, sustainable setup that supports E‑trading information systems for the Americas with global CMI support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Capital Market IT Americas electronic trading teams, ensuring local projects and production matters are prioritized and resolved with quality and timeliness.
Maintain Run and Build backlog and build partnerships with NY capital market teams.
Contribute to the development of e‑trading applications for NY trading desks.
Adjust sourcing capacity to meet business and IT requirements and constraints.
Onboard staff and foster an environment of trust and empowerment.
Drive delivery based on business value and core IT capacities.
Serve as bridge between business needs and IT solutions.
Identify simplification opportunities for the user environment.
Promote strong proximity with business and continuous improvement culture.
Act as gatekeeper of IT Electronic Trading strategy aligned with CMI Master Plan.
Communicate this strategy to the business, GIT and ensure alignment between projects and target plan.
Guarantee high‑quality production service with proactive incident management and remediation.
Ensure best practices for production monitoring, tracking and proactive incident follow‑up.
Provide 24/7 out‑of‑hours support where required.
Ensure accurate, exhaustive and transparent reporting.
Manage obsolescence and vulnerabilities of locally covered applications.
Coordinate with external parties (vendors, US financial market infrastructure).
Deliver local and global enhancements and projects.
Maintain and improve service quality.
Coordinate with onshore/nearshore teams and third parties.
Supplementary Information Salary Range: $240k - $260k

Experience Required
12–15 years of relevant experience.
Successful leadership in Electronic Trading IT environment with Run and Build setup.
Successful partnership building with Capital Market business users.
Knowledge of Capital Market activities (negotiation, pricing, booking).
Experience in Onshore/Offshore model and international environment.
Required skills Required
Strong IT skills with appetite for functional subjects and business processes.
Good understanding of information systems underlined by IT infrastructure.
Team player, strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, attention to details.
Ability to analyse and summarise information, work autonomously, decide efficiently, result‑oriented mindset.
Comfortable working with multiple teams across locations with excellent interpersonal skills.
Business continuity/disaster recovery management.
Vulnerabilities management and remediation.
French language skills a plus.
