Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team at Architectural Casework. The candidate will have experience in precision woodworking, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and finishing custom cabinetry and casework for commercial and residential projects, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications for Architectural Casework projects.
Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinetry and custom woodwork using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Ensure accurate joinery, alignment, and fit of all components.
Operate CNC machinery, saws, routers, sanders, and other woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
Select appropriate materials, hardware, and finishes for each project.
Inspect work for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company standards and client specifications.
Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve any issues during fabrication or assembly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
Assist in training and mentoring junior craftsmen as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in Architectural Casework fabrication.
Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and finishing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet production deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in woodworking or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in a standing position for extended periods.
Capable of operating woodworking machinery safely.
Manual dexterity and precision required for detailed work.
