Position Overview Nexxen is seeking a strategic, high‑energy
Director of Business Development
to lead our US Publisher Sales team. Based in our
New York City
headquarters, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our omnichannel supply footprint, managing a high‑performance team of BD Managers and a Team Lead. This role will be based in our NY office location. Our team follows a hybrid schedule, working in the office three days a week and remotely for the rest.
What You’ll Do
Navigate the intersection of video, Display, In‑app, and data, helping premium publishers maximize their yield through our unified tech stack.
Lead a team of hunters focused on securing long‑term partnerships with top‑tier web, app publishers.
Mentor and scale a team of BD Managers and a dedicated Team Lead, responsible for their professional development, quota attainment, and strategic account mapping.
Own the “Omnichannel” narrative, driving the adoption of Nexxen’s full suite of supply‑side solutions across CTV, Linear, Video, and Display.
Maintain a rigorous sales process, from initial prospecting and technical discovery to contract negotiation and successful hand‑off to Account Management.
Act as a feedback loop between the market and our Product team, ensuring Nexxen’s roadmap remains ahead of industry shifts (e.g., identity resolution, SPO, and privacy regulations).
Lead high‑level negotiations with executive stakeholders at major media houses and publishing groups.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years in AdTech, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/management role, ideally within Publisher Sales or Supply‑Side Business Development.
Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (SSPs, DSPs, RTB, Header Bidding) and the nuances of CTV and Video monetization.
A proven track record of existing relationships with premium publishers and media companies.
Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for publishers.
Location: Must be based in or willing to work from our NYC office on a hybrid schedule.
Compensation & Benefits In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full‑time annual base salary for this role in New York is $170K – $220K at the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, discretionary time off, and company‑paid holidays.
