Account Manager – Automotive (Stellantis Focus)

Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven
Account Manager
with a strong track record of selling into
Stellantis . This role will be responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue within assigned programs and platforms.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience within automotive systems—particularly
powertrain, fuel systems, fluid handling, or related components —and understands the commercial and technical dynamics of working with a major OEM.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow business with
Stellantis , serving as the primary commercial contact
Develop and execute account strategies to increase revenue and market share
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across platforms and programs
Lead RFQ responses, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations
Build and maintain strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, and program teams at Stellantis
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal engineering, operations, and program management teams
Support program launches, ensuring alignment on timing, cost, and customer expectations
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategy
Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
Minimum
5+ years of automotive sales experience
Minimum
3+ years of recent, direct selling experience to Stellantis (required)
Proven success winning and managing automotive programs
Strong understanding of OEM purchasing processes and product development cycles
Experience with
powertrain, fuel systems, fluid handling, or related components
highly preferred
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to travel as needed to support customer engagement
Preferred Background
Experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier
Technical aptitude with the ability to interface effectively with engineering teams
Track record of growing accounts and winning new business
Work Environment
Hybrid/remote flexibility with regular travel to customer sites
