About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in the Legal Operations and Contracts Community space, is looking for a skilled Community and Marketing Operations Contractor to join their team for a 5 month engagement. This project involves supporting day‑to‑day operations, driving member engagement, and managing marketing and content platforms for a fast‑growing, sophisticated community of 25,000+ contracts professionals. This is a high‑impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

Newsletter & Website Management: Design, populate, test, and schedule weekly newsletters via Mailchimp, monitor engagement statistics, and coordinate with web developers to maintain the WordPress website, speed, and overall performance.

Marketing & Content Support: Design marketing assets using Canva and Google Suite, develop marketing copy and social media campaign concepts, and manage sponsor campaign and ad placements on the newsletter and website.

Community Operations: Respond to admin inbox inquiries within 24 hours, support member engagement and community management, and assist with Contract Nerds Community Council (CNCC) program coordination.

Online and In‑Person Events: Oversee and support all online webinars and in‑person events, coordinating logistics and managing relationships with vendors and sponsors.

Innovation & Efficiency: Research and implement AI solutions for common member inquiries, with bonus points for using AI tools and automations to work more efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience

Mid‑level professional with proven experience managing communities and events, and a track record of successful marketing operations and content management.

Deep expertise in essential platforms, including Canva, Google Docs/Slides, Mailchimp, WordPress, Zoom, Jotform, Notion, LinkedIn, and ChatGPT. This isn’t a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, with a self‑starter mentality and proactive problem‑solving approach.

Strong troubleshooting abilities and technical problem‑solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and quality control, with strong written communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
