Title: Community and Marketing Operations Contractor Job Type: Full-time Contractor Contract Length: 5 months Pay Range: 40-46/hr Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote About The Opportunity Our client, a leader in the Legal Operations and Contracts Community space, is looking for a skilled Community and Marketing Operations Contractor to join their team for a [Contract Duration] engagement. This project involves supporting day-to-day operations, driving member engagement, and managing marketing and content platforms for a fast-growing, sophisticated community of 25,000+ contracts professionals. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include: Newsletter & Website Management: Design, populate, test, and schedule weekly newsletters via Mailchimp, monitor engagement statistics, and coordinate with web developers to maintain the WordPress website, speed, and overall performance. Marketing & Content Support: Design marketing assets using Canva and Google Suite, develop marketing copy and social media campaign concepts, and manage sponsor campaign and ad placements on the newsletter and website. Community Operations: Respond to admin inbox inquiries within 24 hours, support member engagement and community management, and assist with Contract Nerds Community Council (CNCC) program coordination. Online and In-Person Events: Oversee and support all online webinars and in-person events, coordinating logistics and managing relationships with vendors and sponsors. Innovation & Efficiency: Research and implement AI solutions for common member inquiries, with bonus points for using AI tools and automations to work more efficiently. Required Skills & Experience We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have: Mid-level professional with proven experience managing communities and events, and a track record of successful marketing operations and content management. Deep expertise in essential platforms, including Canva, Google Docs/Slides, Mailchimp, WordPress, Zoom, Jotform, Notion, LinkedIn, and ChatGPT. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, with a self-starter mentality and proactive problem-solving approach. Strong troubleshooting abilities and technical problem-solving skills.
