Mustang Cat is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented

Sales Coordinator

to support our Construction Machinery Sales team. This role is responsible for coordinating machine orders with Caterpillar, tracking inventory, supporting sales representatives, and ensuring machines move through the ordering and delivery process efficiently.

This position plays a key role in supporting machine sales operations for New, Used, and Rental equipment.

What You’ll Do as a Sales Coordinator:

Coordinate machine orders with Caterpillar based on customer sales orders

Track and maintain machine order status from factory order through delivery

Process change orders and updates requested by Sales Representatives

Coordinate transportation and logistics for incoming machines

Report machines sold and assist with pre-invoicing documentation

Maintain accurate inventory records for machines and attachments

Perform monthly inventory scans and reporting

Provide machine status updates and sales support to Sales Representatives

Create reports for Sales Managers to analyze sales data

Assist with contract and documentation coordination during month-end and year-end closing

This position is critical to ensuring machines are ordered, tracked, delivered, and invoiced accurately and efficiently. The Sales Coordinator helps keep the sales process moving and supports both the sales team and customers throughout the equipment purchasing process.

What You’ll Need to Succeed as a Power Systems Marketing Coordinator: Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Business or related field preferred

Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

Minimum 3 years of related administrative, sales support, or coordination experience

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and database systems

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team

Professional communication and phone skills

Spanish speaking skills are a plus

Heavy equipment or construction industry experience is a plus
