Customer Service Representative Job Description
Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling multiple types of customer experience inquiries and resolving service concerns/ documenting customer requests.
Responsibilities
Resolve issues which do not require an agent's license and refer appropriate areas.
Completes customer's transactional requests as provided by caller.
Employs probing questions and actively listens to customer issues, showing interest and compassion and displaying empathy for the caller's situation.
Demonstrates accuracy in processing changes to customer policies based on the information provided and identifies opportunities requiring a transfer to a licensed representative.
Verify coverage for customers and provide proof of evidence of insurance documents to customers.
Acknowledge and direct customer requests for additional products or services to appropriate licensed representative.
Ensure facilitation of first call resolution and customer satisfaction on all transactions handled.
Handle any requests regarding customer documentation and be able to clearly explain them including any follow-ups required on customer's part.
Prior contact center experience is a plus.
Basic PC aptitude including proficiency in keyboard skills.
