Business Development Executive – Air Freight As a Business Development Executive – Air Freight, you are a key growth driver for our strategic Air and LCL products. In this front-line commercial role, you actively generate new business, develop critical trade lanes, and deliver volumes that optimize asset utilization. You will win new customers, build long-term relationships, and ensure a smooth onboarding into our solutions—directly contributing to sustainable growth and the success of our core markets.

Your Responsibilities

Identify and win new customers with regular Air and LCL volumes

Build a strong pipeline through proactive lead generation using sales tools, networks, and market insights

Leverage relevant value propositions to sell tailored Air/LCL solutions

Prepare spot quotes and support larger RFQ opportunities

Collaborate closely with local product teams to ensure competitive pricing and volume growth

Successfully onboard new accounts and accelerate volume conversion

Cross-sell and upsell complementary services such as Customs and Haulage

Drive new business on strategic trade lanes aligned with asset optimization

Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations and customer service

Transfer strategic accounts to key account teams when required, ensuring a seamless customer experience

What You’re Accountable For

Proven experience in airfreight sales
