bAbout the role: bLenovo is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist, with an AI and Data Analytics background to support the North America team. You will play a crucial role insupporting efficient and complianttrade operations for Lenovo. This roleismapped to Lenovo’s US Global Headquarters in Morrisville, NC (Raleigh/Durham area) with the expectation that work is performed in a hybrid setting (3 days in office; 2 days remote).

bRole Overview:
Implement and develop AI & Data Analytics programs within Lenovo's Global Supply Chain Trade Compliance Team.
Take on key projects within Trade Compliance and apply learned data analytic skills and ML models to enhance effectiveness
Bridge the gap between raw data and actionable intelligence, from data cleaning to exploratory analysis and deployment of ML models
Learn the overall guidelines of Global Trade Compliance and how it effects Supply Chain operations within Legal guidance
bKey Responsibilities:
bAI/Data Analytics: bClean, preprocess, and transform large-scale datasets into high-quality analysis and model training
bData Visualization: bDesign and maintain dashboards (Power BI) to make complex findings easily digestible for non-technical stakeholders
bDigital Liaison: bWork directly with our Digital Office (IT) and be the project liaison with Trade Compliance
bTrade Compliance Documentation: bReview andvalidatedocumentation for compliance and operational accuracy
bMonitor Regulatory Updates: bMonitorand assess regulatory changesimpactingbusiness operations
bRisk Mitigation: bConduct investigations to minimize legal and operational risks
bCommunication & Coordination: bEffectively convey regulatory and tariff changes to internal stakeholders and customs brokers, ensuringaccurateimplementation
bBasic Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in international business,Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science orrelated field
Strong analytical skills: attention to detail and driven attitude to take ownership and deliver on commitments
Excellent communication skills,with the ability to clearly convey complex regulatory and operational information to diverse internal and external stakeholders
Experience working with data through coursework, projects, or internships — including cleaning, organizing, and analyzing datasets
Familiarity with analytics or data science tools (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) to support insights or model development
Experience creating dashboards or visual reports, preferably using Power BI or similar tools
Ability to turn data into clear visuals and stories that non‑technical audiences can easily understand

bPreferred Qualifications:
0-2 years' experience (internships or projects) with use-cases highlighting advanced knowledge of AI and data analytics
