CARE.**Connect | Engage | Serve****What You Will Do**The Director of Business Intelligence will lead the design, development, and delivery of BI dashboards and reports while providing leadership to a reporting and analytics team. This role combines hands‐on development with mentorship, standards enforcement, and collaboration across the business to drive consistent, high‐quality reporting solutions.**What Your Day Consists Of****Power BI Development*** Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and datasets* Translate business requirements into clear, actionable data visualizations* Build and optimize data models* Integrate data from multiple sources* Ensure report performance, scalability, and data accuracy* Implement row‐level security (RLS) and data governance standards* Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and performance issues**Team Leadership & Ownership*** Lead, mentor, and support a team of analysts* Establish and enforce reporting standards, best practices, and design guidelines* Review team deliverables for accuracy, performance, and usability* Prioritize work, manage workloads, and coordinate delivery timelines* Act as a technical escalation point for complex BI and data modeling issues* Collaborate with stakeholders to align team output with business priorities* Support onboarding, training, and skill development within the team* Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and tools**What You Bring To Us****Qualifications*** Experience developing reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI* knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling* Experience with SQL and relational databases* Ability to lead or mentor team members* Understanding of data visualization and UX best practices* Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills**Technical Skills*** Power BI Desktop* DAX & Power Query* SQL* Data modeling* Excel, CSV, and cloud based data sources* Documentation and version control practices**Soft Skills*** Leadership and mentorship capability* Strong attention to detail and quality* Collaborative, customer‐focused mindset* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
