
Asset Management Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Asset Management Analyst to join our Real Estate Credit Group in Fort Worth, Texas. This individual will play an integral role in managing and monitoring a diverse portfolio of real estate loans, with a focus on loan funding, draw administration, and ongoing asset performance oversight. The position reports directly to the Head of Asset Management within the Real Estate Group and provides strong exposure to portfolio analytics, borrower interaction, and credit risk management.
Key Responsibilities Loan Funding & Draw Management
Review and process borrower draw requests, including construction draws and other funding requests
Analyze supporting documentation (budgets, lien waivers, inspections, cost reports)
Coordinate with third-party consultants, inspectors, and internal finance teams to facilitate timely funding
Track loan commitments and ensure funding complies with credit agreements
Portfolio & Loan-Level Reporting
Assist in preparing quarterly portfolio reviews for senior management and investment committees
Perform loan-level financial analysis, including updated cash flow modeling and collateral review
Track and report key portfolio metrics (LTV, DSCR, covenant compliance, risk ratings)
Identify potential risks and elevate findings to senior team members
Covenant Monitoring & Asset Oversight
Monitor borrower financial reporting and covenant compliance
Work directly with borrowers to collect required reporting (financials, rent rolls, compliance certificates, project updates)
Compare operating performance to underwriting assumptions
Support amendments, waivers, and loan modifications as needed
General Asset Management Support
Scrub and review loan documents to accurately onboard new loans into the asset management system
Maintain organized loan files and reporting trackers
Support internal reporting and audit processes
Collaborate with origination, underwriting, legal, and finance teams
Participate in asset-level discussions and portfolio strategy reviews
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience at a credit-focused real estate firm (private credit fund, bank, insurance company, debt fund, or similar platform)
Strong understanding of real estate credit fundamentals (LTV, DSCR, cash flow analysis, construction budgets)
Familiarity with loan documents and credit agreements
Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
Embrace a technology-driven approach with a strong interest in process innovation and continuous improvement
Preferred Experience
Construction loan or draw administration experience
Experience with covenant testing and compliance monitoring
Exposure to portfolio-level reporting for senior leadership
Self-starter with strong organizational discipline
Experience implementing and refining new asset management models and trackers
