Deputy Director, Equal Employment Opportunity (DDEEO)
for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). You will serve approximately 6,000 employees and act as subject matter expert for the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Programs.
Responsibilities
Executing and evaluating a civilian federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) program, including advising on the application of EEO program requirements.
Developing strategic initiatives and recommendations for senior leaders.
Qualifications
At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the ability to execute and evaluate a civilian federal EEO program.
Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work, including National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
