IT Portfolio Analyst
plays a key role in enabling Crescent’s technology strategy by providing portfolio-level visibility, financial discipline, and decision support across IT initiatives. This role partners closely with IT leaders, business stakeholders, Finance & Accounting to ensure technology investments are aligned with corporate priorities, delivered efficiently, and managed with transparency.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at the intersection of technology, finance, and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and analyze the IT project and application portfolio, ensuring alignment with Crescent’s strategic objectives and business priorities
Track and report on IT spend, forecasts, budgets, and variances in partnership with Finance
Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting to support informed decision-making
Support intake, prioritization, and governance processes for IT initiatives, including business case analysis and benefits tracking
Monitor project and portfolio health, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization
Assist with resource planning and capacity analysis across IT teams
Ensure portfolio data integrity across systems and reporting tools
Support continuous improvement of portfolio management processes, tools, and standards
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, Engineering, or commensurate experience
3+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, PMO, financial analysis, or a related analytical role
Strong understanding of project and portfolio management concepts
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Proficiency with portfolio management tools, spreadsheets, and data visualization/reporting platforms such as Excel and PowerBI
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in energy, upstream oil & gas, or capital-intensive industries
Familiarity with Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
Experience supporting executive or senior leadership reporting
