Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Mortgage Loan Officer in the northwest Indiana area. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients throughout the mortgage application and approval process. Daily responsibilities include evaluating loan applications, providing expert guidance on mortgage products, coordinating with underwriters, and maintaining excellent client relationships to ensure a smooth and transparent lending experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in mortgage practices and offer tailored solutions to meet clients' financial needs.
Qualifications
Proven expertise as a Loan Officer, with knowledge of Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices Familiarity with underwriting processes and guidelines Strong customer service skills and a client-centric approach Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment Licensure as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) under the NMLS or ability to obtain licensing Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance with industry regulations
