Mechanical Process Designer – 3D Piping & Modular Systems This full‑time, permanent Mechanical Process Designer opening is at a growing, diverse, custom structural, system and metal component manufacturer.
Customers are diverse and include biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical companies.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop intricate 3D models and piping assemblies for custom modular process systems using SolidWorks, ensuring precision for sanitary fabrications
Engineer construction drawings and support documentation, including comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and technical manuals for high‑end global clients
Collaborate directly with Project Engineers and Managers to translate technical requirements into functional, manufacturable designs
Interface with the production floor to resolve real‑time manufacturing challenges and integrate design improvements into master system layouts
Provide technical design support across cross‑functional departments, including Sales and Quality Control, to ensure all systems meet strict industry standards (Biotech/Pharma)
Qualifications
An Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design or a related technical field
A strong proficiency in SolidWorks 3D and Microsoft Excel; experience with sanitary piping or modular system fabrication is a major plus
Technical Aptitude: A willingness to learn or a current proficiency in fluid mechanics and electrical controls

A solid and stable work history reflecting commitment to previous employers
