Assistant Property Manager

We are currently looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team and help us uphold our standards of excellence.

The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager to manage a portfolio that may include multiple mixed‑use properties from Class A office buildings, medical office buildings, lab space, and retail centers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency. Job duties include:

Responsibilities

Assist with overall management and decision making for each property within your portfolio

Manage tenants, vacant spaces, common areas, building structure and grounds

Assist with managing and oversee tenant move‑ins and move‑outs, including managing tenant improvement renovations

Prepare monthly variance reports and executive summaries

Assist with the preparation of CAM estimates and CAM reconciliations

Inspect overall properties on a regular basis, including vacant units ensuring a well‑kept, professional appearance

Review and code invoices for your portfolio

Manage work order requests for portfolio and work with maintenance staff to ensure maintenance issues are resolved timely and correctly

Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past‑due rent

Obtain bids for maintenance and repairs

Complete lease abstracts

Oversee contractors and review/approve contracts

Communicate with tenants to resolve tenant issues/complaints

Review and send monthly rent statements to tenants

Ability to understand and interpret lease language and enforce legal terms of lease

Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

Exceptional customer service skills with a professional, friendly attitude

Excellent verbal and written skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Detail‑oriented, organized, and reliable

Able to multi‑task, prioritize and meet deadlines

This position will require local travel to various properties in the St. Louis area. The company does reimburse mileage.
