
Team Relations Specialist

Pay or shift range: $55,000 USD to $70,000 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
Description Essential Functions
Research and gather data to respond to federal, state and local agencies (EEOC, DOL, Unemployment)
Participate in the coordination of semi-annual/annual employee feedback survey for the purpose of identifying strengths and opportunities to ensure continuous improvement.
Investigates and resolves employee relations issues.
Provides counsel to employees and all levels of management on company policies and procedures.
Conduct investigations with departments on an as needed basis and follow up with them to ensure compliance.
Provides data, analysis and recommendations on employee satisfaction and retention measures.
Organizes and executes departmental climate surveys/focus groups/round tables and provides analysis and appropriate recommendations to management.
Partners with the property Customer Service Director to align employee and customer satisfaction. Ensures leadership team learns, understands and supports the property in a way that creates employee engagement.
Conduct training of supervisory skills in all aspects of Employee Relations.
Inputs data into various systems (HRIS); Process employee personal changes.
Create, maintain, and disperse monthly reports.
Assist with Exit Interview process.
Complete and process all employment verification requests.
Develop relationships with all levels of employees.
Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.
Support all functions of Human Resources as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must have experience responding to governmental agencies, and counseling employees at all levels.
Must possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
Must consult with all levels of the organization and act as a role model.
Must be able to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously and set and meet deadlines.
Must be able to analyze trends and anticipate issues that affect the work environment.
Must have knowledge of laws and regulations regarding employment.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Education and Experience
2-3 years of experience in employee/labor relations function is required including: conflict resolution, organizational skills, training/ facilitation skills, analytical skills.
Required Certification/License
Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license
Qualifications Education Required High School or better.
