Mechanical Estimator

Overview Our client is a well established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the Atlanta market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Work directly with project managers to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated response

Design layouts of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software

Conduct building system audits, energy analysis and savings calculations

Assist jobsite meetings as needed

Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise

Create and maintain customer relationships

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution

EIT, PE, CEM are a bonus

5+ years experience in MEP and/or with an Energy Services company

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and communication skills

AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
