Job Overview
First American has an opening for a self‑motivated Sales Representative. The Agency Sales Representative will work with real estate attorneys, title companies and other industry professionals to develop and retain a quality client base through the acquisition of new business and the maintenance of existing customers. The position will interface with First American's office staff as well as division management in carrying out the functions of the role.
What You'll Do
Build client relationships, maintain and expand business with existing client base
Communicate proactively with and respond in a timely manner to clients
Develop a sales plan to include calls and appointments with real estate attorneys, title companies, lenders and real estate agents
Assess individual client needs and develop, present and implement a plan to meet those needs
Be highly visible in your marketing area by attending and participating in real estate industry functions
Effectively create and deliver group and individual presentations to clients, target customers and industry groups
Make extensive in‑state travel
What You'll Bring
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years sales experience in the title industry
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel >50% of the time
Monthly commissions in addition to the annual base salary pay range: $65,000 - $85,000. This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
