The
Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative II
is responsible for the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of commercial liability claims across multiple client accounts and jurisdictions. This role manages a diverse desk that includes Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Municipal claims handling matters involving bodily injury, property damage, and litigation. This is a remote position supporting a national claim portfolio within a fast-paced TPA environment. The role requires independent judgment, strong technical claim knowledge, and the ability to manage litigation, negotiations, and client expectations while maintaining compliance with CCMSI standards and service commitments. Responsibilities
Investigate multi-line liability claims involving bodily injury, property damage, and litigation Determine coverage, liability, and damages in accordance with policy terms and applicable laws Handle claims across Commercial Auto, General Liability, Municipal, and Garage Keepers programs Establish and manage claim strategy from initial report through resolution Review, evaluate, and negotiate medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices Negotiate settlements directly with claimants, attorneys, and vendors Select, assign, and oversee defense counsel on litigated claims Monitor subrogation potential and coordinate recovery efforts Identify and manage excess carrier reporting requirements Maintain accurate, timely, and well-documented claim files Communicate proactively with clients, insureds, attorneys, and internal partners Ensure compliance with CCMSI service standards, client handling instructions, and quality benchmarks Qualifications
Required Qualifications
3+ years of liability claims handling experience Strong working knowledge of bodily injury, property damage, and litigation processes Experience handling commercial liability claims Ability to manage a multiple-account desk independently Active adjuster license in designated home state Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote national team Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in a TPA environment Commercial claims handling background Litigation management experience Experience working with municipal accounts Public speaking or client-facing presentation experience Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.
