Job Description We are seeking a motivated
Inside Sales Representative
to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing quotations, managing customer accounts, and supporting the outside sales and engineering teams to ensure fast and accurate responses to customer requests.
This position requires a blend of technical aptitude, customer communication skills, and sales initiative. You will manage RFQs, review technical requirements, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers to close opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer RFQs and coordinate with engineering and production for accurate quoting.
Prepare and issue sales quotations and support documentation for standard and custom furnace systems.
Maintain detailed customer records and quote history in the Infor ERP and CRM systems.
Proactively follow up on open quotes to convert opportunities into orders.
Collaborate with Customer Service and Production to ensure order accuracy and timely communication.
Monitor market and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
Ensure all interactions reflect Thermcraft’s brand professionalism and technical expertise.
Drive account expansion through targeted growth strategies and cross‑selling initiatives.
Introduce new solutions to existing customers to increase profitability and wallet share.
Align with field sales and marketing teams to capture incremental growth from under‑penetrated markets.
Requirements
Experience in Engineering, Technical Sales, or Business.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in technical inside sales, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Infor ERP/CRM preferred.
Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously.
Preferred
Background in thermal processing, heating systems, or engineered products.
Experience working with distributors, OEMs, or project‑based sales.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
