has been engaged to conduct a search for an Inside Sales Team Manager of Inside Sales for a growing manufacturing client. This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX.
POSITION OVERVIEW The Inside Sales Team Manager will lead and develop a high-performing inside sales team, driving performance, accountability, and revenue growth across phone, email, and digital channels. This role focuses on coaching, performance tracking, and optimizing sales processes while serving as a key liaison between sales and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings a hands‑on leadership style, strong operational mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, and develop inside sales representatives to achieve performance targets
Monitor KPIs (quotes, orders, response times) and implement performance improvement plans
Oversee CRM usage, data accuracy, and sales pipeline hygiene
Partner cross‑functionally with production, purchasing, logistics, and finance teams
Ensure high‑quality, timely customer engagement throughout the sales cycle
Manage team operations including reporting, meetings, escalations, and ongoing training initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience leading or mentoring inside sales teams in a performance‑driven environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track metrics and drive improvements
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
Ownership mindset with strong problem‑solving, coaching, and leadership abilities
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The position offers a base salary of $70,000–$75,000, along with a monthly bonus program with approximately $20,000 annual earning potential tied to team performance.
