Role Description Three Corners Employment is looking for an Employment Specialist, who can establish trusting relationships with clients, helping them understand their rights in the workplace and connecting them with job development services and providing job coaching services. Job duties include but are not limited to recruiting potential candidates, assisting with writing resumes, filling out job applications, mock interviews, ensuring that qualified candidates are matched with roles that suit their skills and experiences, discussions and meetings with employers, meetings with clients and their families, community involvement, etc.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Knowledge of local labor market and strong research skills.
Ability to represent individuals and program services in a professional manner.
Ability to travel in the community and teach others to use public transportation.
Familiar with disability-related issues, services/resources, accommodations, etc.
Strong teaching and assessment skills.
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, google, Internet).
Education And/Or Work Experience
High School diploma / College degree (preferred).
At least 2 years' experience assisting with individual with disability.
Pass a background check.
