As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for taking ownership of a designated Accounts Receivable portfolio of Mid-Market and Enterprise B2B clients. In a subscription-based business, timely collections directly impact growth, retention, and operational stability. The role requires a results-driven mindset to analyze and proactively follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable balances. Responsibilities include resolving customer billing inquiries, partnering cross-functionally to clear disputes, and supporting cash application efforts. Success in this position depends on strong communication, accountability, and the ability to drive issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

Analyze AR Aging reports and Collections portal to prioritize collection efforts

Research to identify issues attributing to account delinquency and resolve them by working with the customer as well as internal groups

Execute consistent outreach (e.g. calls, emails) in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations

Identify high-risk accounts that need to be discussed with management

Collect and process customer payments accurately in accordance with payment due dates

Maintain accurate documentation of collections activity and customer statuses in the collection systems daily

Conduct invoice to contract analysis to provide clear explanations to clients

Contribute to the team’s DSO and Cash Collections goals to strengthen cash flow

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3+ years of B2B Collections experience in a fast-paced environment, including interactions with Mid-Market and Enterprise client bases

Experience in Software-as-Service or Subscription-Based model a plus

Strong Communication, Problem Solving, and Analytical skills required

Detail-orientated and Task-driven

Ability to work independently and adapt to a constantly evolving environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
