At Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook , the front desk is the heartbeat of our hotel. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Agent who is passionate about hospitality, driven by service excellence, and eager to create outstanding guest experiences from the moment guests arrive until long after they depart. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a guest-focused, fast-paced hotel environment.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all guests. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing essential front office operations in accordance with Hilton brand standards. You will represent the hotel with confidence, warmth, and professionalism at all times.

What You'll Be Doing:

Welcome and acknowledge all guests with a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor

Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently

Register guests, assign rooms, issue room keys, and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions

Handle reservations, cancellations, modifications, and room changes using Hiltons PEP system

Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests, concerns, and complaints, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction

Maintain accurate guest accounts, process payments, and balance cash, credit, and folio transactions

Follow all hotel policies regarding safety, security, confidentiality, and guest privacy

Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and management to ensure seamless guest service

Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area

Adhere strictly to Hilton brand standards, service recovery guidelines, and quality assurance expectations

What We Are Looking For:

Previous hotel front desk experience preferred; hospitality or customer service experience required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and management

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Basic computer skills required, experience with Hilton PEP system a plus

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting when necessary

Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
