Healthcare Account Executive Field Based Sales | Newark, NJ

Territory:

Newark, Edison, Morristown, Hamilton areas

Compensation:

$80,000–$90,000 base | $115,000–$125,000 OTE

About the Role The

Healthcare Account Executive

is a

highly visible, field based sales role

responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships across hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term care (LTC), and related healthcare settings throughout Newark area. This is

not an inside or phone based sales role . Success in this position requires an established local presence, frequent in person visits, and existing relationships with hospital based and post acute decision makers.

What You’ll Do

Maintain a

strong, consistent field presence

across hospitals, SNFs, and LTC facilities in the assigned territory

Build and grow referral partnerships with

Case Managers, Social Workers, Care Coordinators, Discharge Planners , and related healthcare professionals

Leverage existing relationships while expanding your local referral network

Drive referral volume and territory growth by executing a consultative, relationship based sales approach

Track activity, referral performance, and outcomes against defined metrics

Collaborate internally to ensure a smooth handoff and high quality experience for referred clients

Required Qualifications

Must currently live in Newark, Hamilton, Edison, New Brunswick, Morristown or a nearby surrounding area

Minimum

2 years of healthcare field sales experience

within

home health, hospice, senior living, or related post acute markets

Established, current relationships

with hospital based professionals (Case Managers, Social Workers, Care Coordinators, Discharge Planners)

Demonstrated experience calling on

hospitals, SNFs, and LTC facilities

Proven ability to generate referrals and meet or exceed measurable sales goals

Comfortable working in a

fully field based role

with daily in person visits

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage territory activity and performance metrics

Nice to Have

Experience expanding an existing territory or rebuilding under developed accounts

Familiarity with CRM or EMR systems

Background working in competitive, referral driven healthcare markets

Other Requirements

Reliable transportation and ability to travel daily within the assigned territory

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
