Outside Sales Representative – Construction Supply (Nashville, TN)
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a fast-growing, privately held distributor of construction, safety, and industrial supplies serving commercial contractors, industrial facilities, and jobsite professionals.

high-touch customer service, strong field relationships, and bringing innovative products to market —helping customers improve safety, productivity, and overall jobsite performance.
This is a true
outside sales “hunter” role
with the ability to build a book of business while also growing existing accounts.
What You’ll Do Develop new business with general contractors, subcontractors, and industrial accounts Manage and grow an existing territory of active customers Call on jobsites daily (in-person selling is critical) Identify opportunities for safety, tooling, and consumable product solutions Build long-term relationships with decision-makers (PMs, superintendents, purchasers) Partner with inside sales and leadership to ensure strong service and follow-through Stay current on new products and educate customers on best-in-class solutions
What We’re Looking For 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience (construction, industrial, or related preferred) Hunter mentality with a track record of generating new business Comfortable spending the majority of your time in the field Strong relationship-building and communication skills Self-motivated, competitive, and disciplined with territory management Ability to understand and sell technical or product-based solutions
