What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist in the demonstration and sales of surgical ophthalmology capital equipment to major institutions and practices
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction through effective follow-up and support
Educate Regional Sales Managers to enhance product knowledge and sales expertise
Provide marketing with field insights and feedback to align sales strategies
Identify continued education needs for the sales team and assist in training efforts
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of four to six years of experience in ophthalmic surgical capital equipment sales
High level of technical and clinical knowledge in ophthalmic surgery
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software
Valid motor vehicle license and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Four-year college degree preferred
Experience with Carl ZEISS Meditec and competitive product lines
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Creative and resourceful with strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced and complex work culture
