Community Engagement Coordinator The primary role of the Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) is to engage and educate diverse cultural populations in Colorado and Wyoming on organ, eye and tissue donation. The CEC is responsible for all aspects of organizing, promoting, and managing programs associated with increasing awareness and support of organ and tissue donation in multicultural populations as well as within religious communities. This includes traditional and digital marketing, advertising, mass communication, media relations, community relations, event management, and public education.
Creation of strategic, culturally appropriate communication, marketing collateral materials and educational resources/programs targeting the specified groups with the goal of increasing registry participation and understanding of organ and tissue donation
Heavily involved with community events, relationship creation, and public education
Develops and manages strategic, culturally appropriate content for web and social, including writing educational articles and creating appealing graphics for ethnic groups and general markets.
Supports the planning, development, and execution of paid digital campaigns, including defining target audience and budget, writing compelling ad copy, and developing campaign creative.
Qualifications & Skills
Three years experience in a related field required (communications, marketing, public health, or related field)
Bilingual in English and Spanish-read, write, and speak in Spanish is required
Must possess excellent organizational, writing, presentation and leadership skills and have demonstrated ability to work with community leaders and diverse volunteers
Schedule flexibility to include nights and weekends for community events
