Position Title:
Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal
The Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal plays a critical role in supporting a dedicated team of legal professionals in managing personal injury cases. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that ensure cases progress smoothly from intake to trial. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment and possess the ability to adapt to urgent matters as they arise. Working closely with attorneys and other paralegals, the individual will contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Support attorneys and associates in managing a caseload of approximately 50 personal injury cases
Assist with both pre‑litigation and litigation processes
Track deadlines to ensure timely case progression
Collect medical records and prepare discovery responses
Draft demands and manage settlement disbursements
Conduct e‑filing and maintain accurate calendaring
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information
Coordinate expert witnesses and assist with trial preparation
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in personal injury law
Experience with both pre‑litigation and litigation processes
Proven ability to manage cases from intake to trial
Familiarity with e‑filing and calendaring
Experience with discovery and demand processes
Settlement disbursement experience
Trial experience is a plus
AA minimum, BA degree is preferred, paralegal certificate is preferred
File Vine experience is preferred
