Job Title Specialist II, Corporate Communications

Location Aliso Viejo, CA

Shift M-F

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $33-38/hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type Temporary, 6 months

FLSA Status Non-Exempt

Schedule M-F, 8 am-5 pm

Job Duties

Responsible for knowing the Company’s product portfolio and competitive portfolios.

Understand impact of competitive market developments.

Ensure proper use of marketing materials and communications internally and externally.

Responsible for internal and external events by preparing and executing components of the programs using external vendors, agencies, and branding at events and meetings.

Events may include corporate events, promotional strategies, tradeshows, and consumer outreach events.

Projects may include preparation and editing of presentations, logistics of meeting, and agenda planning.

Maintain and track invoices, receipts and submit payments in a timely and accurate manner.

Begin allocating proper budgeting resources to projects.

Monitor project budget performance.

Prepare and organize key projects utilizing a budget tracker and implement rolling forecasts and budgets for all projects for each quarter.

Execute individual projects and programs.

Collaborate with team members to ensure proper execution of programs or projects.

Participate in the creation of brand guidelines and execution of strategy.

Strategy may include rebranding, new product launches, and other changes.

Serve as a liaison between key internal constituents to articulate the brand’s position and to ensure consistency of the brand and corporate image in all programs, events, and promotional pieces.

Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of MarCom/CorCom experience

Excellent organizational and coordination skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with attention to detail

Ability to work with multiple associates and customers and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

Ability to travel occasionally in the US and internationally

Strong MS Office proficiency (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
