The Honors Program Ambassador Lead/Coordinator provides leadership, organization, and direction for the Honors Ambassador team. This position serves as a key student representative and operational support for the Weber State University Honors Program, helping ensure that outreach, events, communications, and student engagement efforts run smoothly and successfully.

Working closely with Honors Program staff, the Lead/Coordinator supports the values of curiosity, community, academic excellence, and creative exploration that define Honors. In addition to participating in regular ambassador activities, this role adds responsibilities in planning, training, communication oversight, and team coordination.

Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, dependable, and excited to mentor peers and help elevate the Honors student experience.

Required Qualifications

Must be a current Weber State University student in good academic standing. Enrollment in the Honors Program Comfort with public speaking and engaging with peers. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Creativity, enthusiasm, and reliability are essential. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to delegate, coordinate projects, and mentor peers.
