Vehicle Fleet Management Specialist
at Southern California Edison (SCE). In this role you will work across fleet functions and supplier management activities for a growing fleet of 6,700 assets, supporting $35M in annual generator rental services, $10M in equipment rental spend, and $250M+ financed balance of 4,000 leases. This position supports vehicle and equipment telemetry, maintenance, driver compliance, CARB compliance reporting, and fleet financial reporting. Responsibilities
Assist in development and administration of driver policy procedures for fleet. Administer dispatch and return of rental equipment; ensure invoice compliance to contract; identify and resolve invoicing discrepancies or equipment issues; maintain rental equipment databases and SAP master data. Monitor day-to-day fleet telemetry, maintenance and orders to ensure records are maintained and vehicles are safe. Ensure fleet vehicles and garages comply with all safety regulations and are managed to high safety standards. Maintain insurance logs and details within fleet management systems; provide support for fleet vehicle related issues or concerns. Ensure maintenance, repair and replacement are performed on time and cost-effective; aid in providing direction for policy development that protects the fleet asset base. Support periodically the TSD Rentals 24×7 Duty line. Communicate clearly across user groups, garages and team members to ensure all delivery and pickup timelines are achieved; update databases and SAP master data accordingly. Protect all physical, financial and cybersecurity assets; properly manage highly sensitive information with highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications
Three or more years of experience in fleet management operations and responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications
B.S. Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering. Experience with construction or utility work truck fleet and asset classes (Digger Derricks, Bucket Trucks, Cranes, Cable Pullers, etc.). Experience in transportation or vehicle-related fleet asset management role. Experience making in-depth fleet asset management models to drive effective management recommendations. Supplier contract management experience. Additional Information
This position operates in hybrid mode; you will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on remaining days. Employees are required to work and reside in the state of California unless otherwise noted. Subject to a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation prior to hiring and required training before un-escorted work access. Primary work location: Pomona; may also work in the field throughout the SCE service territory. Up to 30% traveling and field work. Option for 9/80 alternate work schedule or 40 hrs/5 days a week.
