A bit about us: We are an established underground utility contractor in the grater Phoenix area. We are seeking an underground estimator to join our team full time!

Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 5 years of construction experience in Underground Utilities - water, sewer and storm on private or public projects
Must have thorough knowledge of the estimating process
Must have knowledge in MAG Standard Specifications and Standard Details, as well as local supplements to MAG Specifications
Excellent organization skills
Detail oriented
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
Must be able to work under stressful situations
Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision
Experience using various computer systems with preferences in HCSS Heavy Bid, Planswift, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel
Responsibilities
The Estimator works closely with the Chief Estimator and is primarily responsible for performing quantity estimates as it relates to underground utility - water, sewer, and storm
Completes take off per plans and specifications
Creates accurate take offs from drawings using Planswift
Requests, compares and summarizes quotes from vendors
Estimates production and crew sizes using HCSS Heavy Bid
