
Contracting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracting Specialist to support our remote operations and legal/commercial functions. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of contract lifecycle management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and revise a wide range of contracts including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements
Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, renewal, and closeout
Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies during contract negotiations
Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and business teams to align contract terms
Maintain contract records, documentation, and tracking systems
Monitor contract performance, key milestones, and obligations
Support audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance purposes
Assist in developing and improving contract management processes and templates
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal support
Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial terms
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities remotely
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, DocuSign CLM)
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
Paralegal certification or related credentials (a plus)
