Purchasing Specialist - Onsite - New Oxford, PA

We are seeking an on‑site Purchasing Specialist for our facility based at New Oxford, PA. In this position, you will be responsible for securing the raw materials required for production of Sartorius products at the best price and at the time they are required. We strive to improve sourcing activities by analyzing company spend, supply partnerships, and evaluating new possibilities.

What You Will Accomplish Together With Us

Maintain positive relationships with key vendors that deliver benefits to all parties

Organize existing supply base and identify new sources

Prepare reactions based on analysis of trends of the market and conduct accordingly

Work closely with product development to prepare vendor base offers the products / services needed

Conduct price and contract negotiations

Administer framework agreements

Identify and implement actions in the area of risk management for the range of products

What Will Convince Us

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in purchasing or procurement and sourcing

Demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience in purchasing processes

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel; experience with SAP
