Truex Métier, San Francisco, CA, United States
A premier global investment firm based in the Peninsula is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented
Executive Assistant
to join a lean, high-performing team. This is a newly created position designed for someone who excels at traditional administrative support but has a genuine passion for
event planning and execution . Manage complex calendars, coordinate intricate domestic and international travel, and handle expense reporting for a small group of investment professionals. Event Ownership:
Lead the logistics for monthly external dinners, internal team-building gatherings, and 1–2 larger-scale annual events. Vendor Management:
Research and secure venues, manage vendor relationships (catering, AV, etc.), and oversee on-site execution to ensure seamless experiences. Team Collaboration:
Partner closely with the existing administrative team to ensure office operations run smoothly and professional standards are maintained. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience:
At least 3–8 years of experience in a professional office environment (Finance, Venture Capital, or high-growth Tech preferred). Event Exposure:
You don’t need to be a career event planner, but you should have 1 years of experience coordinating logistics, contacting vendors, and managing event workflows. Mindset:
You are “unflappable” under pressure, highly organized, and possess the discretion required for a high-stakes investment environment. Communication:
Polished verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with senior stakeholders and external partners. Why Join Us? High-Visibility:
As a new role, you will have the opportunity to shape our event strategy and become a key pillar of our team culture. Professional Environment:
Work in a sophisticated, collaborative space alongside some of the brightest minds in the investment industry. Stability & Growth:
Join a well-established global firm with a lean, “startup-feel” team structure.
