Job Description
Plan and implement marketing programs or projects that support product marketing objectives that support insurance sales goals. Develop messaging and positioning of products via sales strategies, wholesaler support and other tactics. Work individually or with a team to analyze market conditions and product strategies that fill client needs. Plan for the effective development and implementation of longer term marketing projects and evaluate program effectiveness.Key Responsibilities
Create marketing materials, including writing product specific marketing materials and developing key messages. Ensure compliance approvals obtained as needed. Design, develop and execute plans for complex product marketing programs/ initiatives. Partner with internal or external partners to ensure execution of projects is on-time, and within budget.
Create and write product communication materials to support insurance sales programs and initiatives. Assist wholesalers with competitive case reviews. Build and maintain relationships across the organization to ensure alignment and integration.
Drive measurable insurance program and sales results. Track program participation and results and provide recommendations for improvements.
Manage the development of training programs and sales strategy campaigns to support the sales of RiverSource products.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Series 6 license required or ability to acquire within 120 days of hire.
7+ years marketing experience.
Ability to think strategically, coach and influence people at all levels of the organization.
Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand language.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial Services experience preferred.
Series 7 and 24, or the ability to obtain within 90 days.

In-Office Collaboration

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $100,000 - 137,600 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
